The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for decisions in company projects, supporting various areas with guidance grounded in legislation; they support the tactical implementation strategy for each legal change that impacts systems and operations, mitigating tax risk and working with significant autonomy while providing broad visibility to the team.
Calculate indirect taxes (ISS, ICMS, IPI) in accordance with applicable and up-to-date legislation.
Prepare and submit ancillary obligations (SCANC, SPED Fiscal, GIA, among others).
Draft guidance, instructions and procedures based on legislation and its practical application to the company’s business.
Monitor all changes related to RTC regarding IBS, CBS and IS, as well as rules related to DF-es and ancillary obligations.
Analyze and validate tax information from Electronic Invoices (NF-e), including contingencies.
Continuously monitor legislation, interpret changes in tax law, present them for group discussion and assess impacts on internal processes.
Provide support during tax inspections and audits.
Track and understand the impacts of the Tax Reform on processes and tax obligations in general.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration or related fields.
Languages: Advanced English – will be tested.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax, with focus on indirect taxes (ICMS, ISS, IPI, PIS and COFINS) and knowledge of NF-e (XML and validation rules).
Tools: Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP; knowledge of systems used to support tax filings (Comply; Mastersaf; PWSAT); proficiency in Microsoft Office; ongoing professional development through courses, seminars, training and independent study focused on tax topics.
Preferred/Additional: Knowledge of data analysis tools (Power BI, VBA, Python, AI, etc.).
