About this role
Role Overview
You independently develop and implement solutions to meet complex regulatory requirements in the field of battery technology across the group and proactively advise various business units and management.
You are responsible for group-wide activities related to the EU Battery Regulation and manage topics such as CE declaration, carbon footprint, battery passport, recycling, and the coordination of strategic committee work.
You represent our company in relevant national and international standardization and industry association structures (e.g., DKE, CENELEC, IEC, FEM, CharIN) and actively contribute your technical expertise to the development of standards.
You monitor developments in electrotechnical standards and expert committees, prepare relevant standards and regulatory requirements, and analyze their impact on our products.
You advise development teams on the application of product standards and EU requirements and plan product approvals and certifications by third parties together with internal teams.
You work closely with various departments, coordinate alignments with a goal-oriented approach, and ensure that regulatory and technical requirements are implemented efficiently and considered as early as possible in the development process.
Requirements
You have a successfully completed technical degree, e.g., in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
A digital affinity and confident handling of databases, SAP systems, and digital applications are advantageous to help shape processes efficiently and with a future orientation.
Initial experience with electrotechnical standards and norms as well as association or committee work is a plus; more important to us are your analytical thinking, structured working style, and high degree of independence.
You convince through strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a good sense for collaboration in international and intercultural contexts.
Very good German and English language skills complete your profile.
