Develop new customer opportunities by meeting with customers, understanding their challenges and requirements, and proposing technical solutions to proactively integrate Aptiv connectors into their products.
Represent the “voice of the customer” to internal sales and engineering teams.
Monitor and improve connector penetration and growth in the energy market by customer, market and product line.
Recommend new products and technologies needed to increase sales in energy markets for inclusion in future roadmaps.
Conduct competitive benchmarking analyses (products, performance, technical trade-offs) to identify opportunities for differentiation and value creation.
Lead the development of Bills of Materials (BOMs) for the internal quoting process.
Facilitate technical reviews with customers.
Contribute to the preparation of materials for internal commercial performance reviews.
Requirements
University degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical).
Minimum 3 years of experience in areas relevant to our business, such as wiring harnesses and connectors, and in Energy markets.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems using innovative solutions: problem structuring, data collection and analysis, developing recommendations, and securing customer buy-in.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality presentations (PowerPoint) and to engage effectively with customers.
Strong growth orientation and business development mindset ("Hunter").
Highly motivated, with a proven track record of strong performance and career progression.
Proven experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
