Responsible for overall project scope, schedule, cost and risk management

Developing strategic sequencing and detailed milestone schedules
Coordinating development of detailed cost estimates, schedules and associated project RFP's, RFQ's, contracts, etc.
Responsible for leading projects through all internal and external processes
Managing project scope, schedule and closely planning and managing all project costs
Ensuring availability or seeking out adequate resources for projects
Preparing and producing project management reports, timelines, budgets, and documentation as guided by project or program manager
Independently managing and building project plan deliverables on smaller projects and contributing to larger projects
Providing tracking of large project plans
Identifying plan gaps and developing closure plans
Ensuring the successful completion of assigned project deliverables & milestones in a dynamic/complex environment
Assisting with management of project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking
Supporting RFP and contract management processes
Reviewing actuals versus planned budget during project life cycle to identify deviations, researching reason for deviation and recommending corrective action
Ensuring timely project closure, payment and reconciliation
Managing resources, both internal and external
Managing assigned contracts and associated payments and performance requirements
Managing a comprehensive resource plan for a matrixed team of diverse talent to maximize skills and minimize cost
Defining deliverables and required delivery dates
Facilitating the involvement of all key stakeholders in requirements gathering and planning process
Developing solution design that encompasses the entire project scope
Securing all required approvals (internal, external, etc.)
Developing viable work plans/WBS, milestone schedules, and project cost/benefit estimates
Managing project scope change process
Identifying risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle steps and assisting in creation of mitigation strategies and contingency plans
Communicating project status to all levels of the organization
Establishing effective, collaborative working relationships to maximize project efficiency, responsiveness and resource allocation
Requirements
Minimum 5 years work experience in operations, technology, finance, or comparable function
BS Engineering, Construction, Business, Information Technology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years' experience in project management and process improvement
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
Strong presentation and facilitation skills; excellent written/verbal communications skills
Understanding of core business processes/ industry trends with ability to understand/apply ongoing changes
Knowledge of project planning and business need justification process and methodology
Ability to adapt to change quickly and work within a diverse, cross-functional team environment
Minimum 8 years work experience in operations, technology, finance, or comparable function (for Project Manager II)
5-7 years' experience in project management and process improvement (for Project Manager II)
