Analyze and develop improvements to billing processes using Python and other programming languages
Develop proactive handling for billing failure scenarios
Maintain and create automations via Control-M
Maintain and create workflows in the cloud environment using Databricks
Create and maintain analytic dashboards in Power BI for financial data visualization
Provide support for On-premises and Cloud systems
Respond to incidents and functional requests related to postpaid billing systems, sending emails and SMS to customers, and managing invoice repositories
Lead crisis rooms and War Rooms
Gather requirements and provide technical support to the project team for delivery of new features and systems
Plan billing cycle schedules in coordination with business stakeholders and vendors
Investigate and fix systemic bugs
Work focused on B2C operational indicators and root cause analysis
Work closely with vendors to manage and absorb technical/product knowledge
Requirements
Oracle databases, SQL, PL/SQL | Shell Script and Python programming languages
Experience with Control-M or other job automation tools; experience with Linux and Windows servers
Data manipulation and analysis
Process automation and monitoring
Experience with Cloud (Azure and/or OCI)
Preferred / Nice to have:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other IT-related fields is preferred
Flexibility to participate in on-call rotation and occasional after-hours activities
Knowledge of PostgreSQL and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
Experience with billing systems
Familiarity with Agile methodology
Intermediate English for interaction with vendors
Knowledge of ITIL best practices and COBIT tools
Experience with DevOps
Experience with Databricks
Knowledge of data architecture and modeling, ETL, and DataOps
Familiarity with data exploration, monitoring, and dashboarding tools
