Role Overview
Gather and organize prospect and client information.
Obtain loss runs and prepare loss summaries and loss-history analyses and stratifications.
Perform analytical work such as researching claims issues, reviewing and calculating experience-mod worksheets, and running loss forecasters.
Quote and rate programs across multiple carriers and create marketing documents.
Follow up with carriers and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate in sales efforts and participate in industry seminars to stay current on products and legislative changes.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant insurance education, training, or experience.
Basic insurance knowledge and commitment to professional development (e.g., pursuing insurance designations).
Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion skills and tact to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, carriers, market contacts, and teammates.
Discretion and analytical ability to evaluate client information and proposal competitiveness.
Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
