About this role
Role Overview
- Directly responsible for site specific Fulfillment Center Environmental, Health and Safety.
- Interprets, implements and drives EHS policies, programs, guidelines, and training.
- Drives team member safety engagement expectations for the site with a focus on safety improvement.
- Develops safety progress metrics for trending and identifying areas of opportunities.
- Collaborates with site Sr. Leadership to develop safety recognition programs.
- Manages the site EHS Specialist.
- Participates in Situational Incident Review Team(SIRT) meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum B.S. in occupational safety, environmental & health or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in EHS program management with emphasis on program development, reducing injuries and fostering safety culture.
- Basic experience with LEAN principles, process improvement and change management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good facilitation skills, ability to collaborate with company personnel at all levels.
