Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new co-brand partnership opportunities across industries such as financial services, T&E, automotive, and small business verticals
Lead the end-to-end business development lifecycle for assigned deals – including prospecting, pitch development, RFP responses, and contract negotiation
Build compelling partnership proposals that clearly articulate U.S. Bank’s value proposition and differentiation
Collaborate with multiple internal groups across the bank -
including product development, marketing, risk management, finance, and relationship management to ensure U.S. Bank is putting forth compelling and market-leading proposals
Requirements
5–10+ years of experience in payments-related business development or co-brand partnerships
Strong understanding of co-brand program economics and credit card P&Ls
Demonstrated success building executive-level relationships and managing complex deal cycles
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across a matrixed environment and influence senior stakeholders
Analytical mindset with experience developing financial models and business cases
