About this role
Role Overview
- Implement and maintain contract tracking processes and policies
- Develop external relationships with client contract management counterparts
- Provide redlined recommendations and negotiate directly with client attorneys or purchasing staff
- Maintain contractual records and documentation
- Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
- Drive the permitting process and ensure the project design management continues to follow the client project documents
- Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in contract administration role in a corporate environment
- Strong understanding of contracting process and contract issues, design, procurement and construction regulations
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) and/or Certified Contracts Professional Manager (CCPM) preferred
- Experience in Design/Construction industry, internships, or cooperative education programs are preferred
- Ability to analyze and negotiate contract requirements and terms and conditions
- Utilize effective written and oral communication skills.
