Role Overview
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance department
- Ensure environmental center compliance in accordance with Federal, State and Local ordinance, regulations and building codes
- Ensure the community is maintained in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition
- Maintain the facility in good repair, free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems
- Responsible for the provision of quality laundry service
Requirements
- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in maintenance in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- Minimum of one year of prior experience of maintenance supervisory experience required
- Must possess knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
