Role Overview
- Access and troubleshoot building systems and equipment functionality
- Determine repair needs for internal resources or external vendors
- Operate and maintain data center systems including HVAC and electrical
- Participate in project teams for system maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with Federal standards
- Respond to afterhours emergencies
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 5+ years of Facilities and Equipment experience in a Datacenter, Medical Facility, or Commercial setting
- Expertise in modern facilities operations including HVAC, electrical, and safety systems
- Ability to communicate technical expertise to management
- Familiarity with ITIL service operation best practices (ITIL v4 foundation knowledge)
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Must be capable of directing personnel and interfacing with Government and customers
- Strong customer service skills
- Must work in confined spaces and at heights
