Accountable for the epidemiology program for at least one asset or disease area
Proposing and negotiating program content and budget with matrix leaders
Developing a Global Epidemiology Plan
Liaising with relevant stakeholders to understand, clarify and bridge key evidence gaps
Provide expert epidemiological insights to asset matrix teams
Requirements
Doctoral degree (PhD., ScD or DrPH) in epidemiology (preferred) or a relevant discipline (i.e. health services research, health outcomes research, public health, statistics, or pharmaceutical sciences)
5+ years of Epidemiology experience
Experience in drug and clinical development process
Experience with real world databases including but not limited to claims, electronic health records and national registers
Experience operating in a matrix environment with independent delivery of increasingly complex epidemiological studies including regulatory requirements.
