Role Overview
- Accountable for the epidemiology program for at least one asset or disease area
- Proposing and negotiating program content and budget with matrix leaders
- Developing a Global Epidemiology Plan
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders to understand, clarify and bridge key evidence gaps
- Provide expert epidemiological insights to asset matrix teams
Requirements
- Doctoral degree (PhD., ScD or DrPH) in epidemiology (preferred) or a relevant discipline (i.e. health services research, health outcomes research, public health, statistics, or pharmaceutical sciences)
- 5+ years of Epidemiology experience
- Experience in drug and clinical development process
- Experience with real world databases including but not limited to claims, electronic health records and national registers
- Experience operating in a matrix environment with independent delivery of increasingly complex epidemiological studies including regulatory requirements.
