Responsible for independently and timely preparing the monthly payroll
Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients, social security institutions and authorities on all payroll tax and social security matters
Prepare certificates and manage statutory reporting and notifications
Serve as contact person during audits (social security, payroll tax, etc.)
Collaborate with the founding team to improve the software by providing relevant practical insights
Support HR activities by helping shape future job profiles within the payroll team
Requirements
Successfully completed further training as an IHK-certified payroll accountant (IHK-Lohnbuchhalter) or as a Payroll & Salary Specialist (Fachassistent Lohn & Gehalt)
Basic knowledge of social security law and payroll tax/employment tax law
Independent and conscientious working style
Very good German language skills
Ideally, prior experience with Agenda payroll software
