Accountant

Role Overview

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Support compliance reporting and documentation requirements
• Assist with job costing and project financial tracking within Procore
• Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
• Collaborate with project managers and accounting team members on financial data
• Process and support prevailing wage tracking and reporting
• Manage and track commitment change orders, ensuring proper documentation and system updates
• Monitor and ensure subcontractor compliance, including documentation and onboarding requirements
• Support Procore administration, including managing project financial data and change orders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments
• Experience with Procore and Sage preferred
• Understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving
