Provide leadership and management support for day-to-day operations and maintenance for large portfolio of industrial sites that are spread across a large geographic area
Provides oversight of technicians and subcontractors for client portfolio
Responsible for reviewing and validating subcontractor quotes including getting multiple quotes if necessary
Ensure services are aligned with client expectations and site leads through regular communication
Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
Good analytical/critical thinking
Ensure client satisfaction by providing a seamless interface into client real estate organization; demonstrate leadership, responsiveness and creativity
Accomplish key performance indicators as identified by client
Ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle minimum audit standards
Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and producers that reduce short
and long-term operating costs and increase productivity. Work closely with the IFM Operations Director, and the client
Collaborate with account Sourcing team on sourcing opportunities to define scope, coordinate supplier walk-through, and manage national and regional supplier performance at property level
Determine preventive maintenance scheduling intervals and work to maintain, update and improve the operational efficiency and balance of preventive and reactive maintenance services.
Ensure that proper engineering procedures and standards are being practiced and maintained
Develop and deliver training methods, materials and programs related to building operating standards
Help the management and the maintenance staff in dealing with local, State and Federal code requirements and their implementation
Ensure all environmental conditions meet all codes and standards
Performs other duties as required to meet clients’ objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis
Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience preferred either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant
Strong organizational and management skills
Self-starter
Proficient in Corrigo
Proven ability to build and strengthen client relationships
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills
Experience in matrix management organization desirable
Strong presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of skilled trades, particularly HVAC
