Establish and enforce security best practices and coding standards across the entire backend stack.
Act as the technical lead for the engineering team, providing high-level guidance while remaining "hands-on" with complex features and debugging.

10+ years of professional experience in software development with a heavy focus on Python.
Mastery of FastAPI (highly preferred) or Flask for building high-concurrency RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience architecting and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Expert-level knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and automated quality assurance.
Strong grasp of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design patterns.
Experience acting as a Technical Lead or Lead Developer for a team of 4+ engineers.
Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A "first-principles" approach to troubleshooting and resolving critical production issues.
