Provide technical leadership by identifying, developing and executing projects for the factory
Direct and execute installation, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects
Drive continuous improvement and productivity savings projects
Analyze given data and operating conditions; define the road map of improvements needed; implement changes and follow-up on results by involving key responsible people
Responsible for identifying, chartering, and leading significant improvement initiatives
delivering the project results on time
Manage and maintain project milestone schedules with integrated detailed scheduling
Monitor work output from less senior engineers on the project team as assigned by the department manager
Ensure that one exhibits an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations.
Requirements
University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 1+ years of related work experience
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Ability to analyze data
Ability to using problem solving techniques to resolve issues and implement change
Proven ability to complete major projects in a manufacturing environment
Ability to schedule resources effectively so continuous improvement is not sacrificed for day to day results
Additional consideration for those that are considered subject matter experts in a particular field of engineering (process, packaging, refrigeration, etc.)
Project Management experience 1+ years, leading on projects less than $1 million.
