Receive, triage, and investigate reports of potential policy violations that come through the hotline, email, or employee reporting, including topics such as: anti-corruption, fair competition/antitrust, conflicts of interest, workplace misconduct, human rights, environmental and safety compliance.
Conduct interviews, gather evidence, review documents and data, maintain accurate and complete case records.
Analyze findings and determine whether policy violations occurred based on established standards.
Prepare clear, objective, and well-structured investigation reports summarizing allegations, methodology, findings, and recommended corrective actions.
Present investigation results to Compliance leadership, HR, Legal, and relevant business partners.
Maintain documentation in compliance with global investigation protocols and confidentiality standards.
Collaborate with Human Resources, Legal, EHS, and Site/Business Leadership to ensure coordinated and quick responses to compliance issues.
Provide guidance on policy interpretation and corrective action development.
Support continuous improvement and training efforts within the Compliance program by identifying trends and recommending proactive compliance initiatives.
Participate in cross-functional projects or audits as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in legal, business, compliance, HR, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to compliance investigations, audit, or related HR investigation roles; experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or automotive environment is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of core compliance risk areas such as anti-corruption regulations (FCPA), fair competition/antitrust, conflicts of interest, workplace ethics, human rights, environmental and safety compliance, and related compliance frameworks.
Strong interviewing, documentation, and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain objectivity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with diverse teams; proactive, resourceful, and client-service oriented.
Experience working in a global or matrix organization preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 15% to sites located in the U.S. and Canada.
