Resident Compliance Specialist

Role Overview

• The Resident Compliance Specialist supports transportation-related construction projects by ensuring compliance with resident protection commitments, regulatory requirements, and labor standards.
• This role serves as a liaison between residents, contractors, engineers, and public agencies to ensure construction activities comply with approved plans, permits, and federal and state labor compliance obligations.
• Monitor compliance with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans, pedestrian access, driveway access, ADA requirements, and safety measures.
• Conduct regular site visits to observe resident-related impacts and labor compliance conditions.
• Review and verify certified payroll reports for accuracy, completeness, and wage compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, public administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in transportation construction, compliance, inspection, labor compliance, or public works.
• Experience with Davis-Bacon compliance on federally funded construction projects preferred.
• Familiarity with FDOT or Florida local agency projects strongly preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Can work primarily remotely, with occasional office visits in Fort Myers and to local client sites.
• Sponsorship not available now or in the future.
