The Resident Compliance Specialist supports transportation-related construction projects by ensuring compliance with resident protection commitments, regulatory requirements, and labor standards.
This role serves as a liaison between residents, contractors, engineers, and public agencies to ensure construction activities comply with approved plans, permits, and federal and state labor compliance obligations.
Monitor compliance with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans, pedestrian access, driveway access, ADA requirements, and safety measures.
Conduct regular site visits to observe resident-related impacts and labor compliance conditions.
Review and verify certified payroll reports for accuracy, completeness, and wage compliance.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, public administration, or related field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in transportation construction, compliance, inspection, labor compliance, or public works.
Experience with Davis-Bacon compliance on federally funded construction projects preferred.
Familiarity with FDOT or Florida local agency projects strongly preferred.
Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record.
Can work primarily remotely, with occasional office visits in Fort Myers and to local client sites.
