About this role
Role Overview
Legal analysis and assessment of facts and investigation findings
Preparation of recommended actions taking into account legal and internal requirements for receiving reports and conducting investigations
Management and independent execution of fact-finding investigations, including drafting investigation plans, preparing, conducting and documenting employee interviews, requesting statements, etc.
Delivering compliance training and rolling out compliance programs across all international entities (including on-site)
Management of the whistleblower system
Guidance, oversight and coordination of internal and external stakeholders in the context of internal investigations
Support in the development and expansion of the compliance management system (CMS)
Requirements
Degree in law (First and Second State Examinations/German qualified lawyer)
At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in compliance, investigations/internal investigations, preferably in an international company
Alternatively: experience at an auditing firm or a specialized law firm
Desirable: knowledge of the FCPA, UK Bribery Act, EU Whistleblower Directive
Business-fluent German and English
Good understanding of business and economic contexts
Analytical, solution-oriented thinking combined with a strong service focus
Team player with an independent and structured working style
