Manager, Corporate Technical Accounting

Role Overview

• Provide technical accounting guidance to corporate functions and business units
• Responsibility for areas like pension, revenue recognition, leases, financial instruments, and stock compensation
• Support quarterly close and reporting processes
• Prepare technical accounting position papers, policies and procedures
• Maintain knowledge of current and proposed FASB and SEC reporting pronouncements
• Supervise, mentor and develop assigned staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification required
• 6 years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting roles
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Demonstrated experience with technical accounting research and writing technical memos
