Responsible for planning, developing, organizing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services department in accordance with NASW Code of Ethics
Foster a climate, policies, and routines that enable residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity
Provide, develop, and/or aid in the access of services to meet psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs
Requirements
A fire and passion for working with seniors
A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
Certified, licensed, or registered in the state of practice
Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human services field required
Minimum of one year of supervisory social work experience in a health care setting working primarily with the geriatric population required
Minimum of two years of prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills
