Role Overview
- Oversee the financial aspects of trading activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile daily profit and loss (P&L) figures for trading desks.
- Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities.
- Communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a coordinated approach to trading activities.
Requirements
- Strong interest in trading strategies, financial products and markets.
- Proven ability and appetite to learn new skills.
- A strong understanding of French GAAP and some understanding of IFRS accounting rules.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience in a financial services function at a top tier organisation.
- Experience of working in teams across multiple business areas, functions and locations.
