Communicating IRS requirements to business partners
Assisting with implementation of new IRS guidance
Ensuring products and services comply with all tax rules
Serve as a liaison between Corporate Tax and the applicable Business Group(s)
Support business activity to ensure compliance with the tax rules
Collaborate optimally with all levels of management
Provide tax guidance to Prudential’s Product areas that include Individual Life Insurance, Group Insurance, Retirement Strategies, and Asset Management
Requirements
Ability to perform technical research
Solid written, verbal, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, while taking ownership of assignments and projects
Aptitude to learn through independent study and on-the-job assignments
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new technical concepts
Ability to work well with others and display objectivity in difficult situations
Organized, flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes
Project management skills
Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of experience working in a Prudential operation, product, legal, compliance or risk area
