Serve as the Product Owner within an Agile Scrum team, owning backlog management and sprint readiness
Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, and stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with modernization goals and business value
Ensure user stories include well-defined acceptance criteria and are ready for development
Participate in all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team
Support ongoing front-end rewrite efforts, ensuring feature parity, usability improvements, and alignment with platform strategy
Quickly ramp up on existing workflows, product architecture, and domain context
Operate with a high degree of autonomy while staying aligned with Product Management direction

7–10+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis or similar roles
Proven experience serving as a Product Owner within Agile Scrum teams
Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and backlog management best practices
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, in-flight development environments
Ability to operate independently with minimal day-to-day oversight after onboarding
Experience using JIRA
Experience in financial services, wealth management, or investment platforms
Familiarity with financial advisors, portfolio management workflows, or investment products (e.g., mutual funds)
Experience supporting front-end modernization or large-scale application rewrites
Exposure to Angular or modern front-end frameworks (not required to code, but helpful for context)
