Role Overview
- Manage pharmacy projects and junior staff in program reviews, financial assessments, implementations, plan design analyses, and financial projections
- Establish effective relationships with carriers and vendors to enhance client benefits procurement and administration
- Leverage Mercer's size and reputation to negotiate competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors
- Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies while effectively communicating industry financial trends to clients and Mercer H&B consultants
Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; master’s degree highly valued
- 10+ years of experience in financial analysis consulting
- Superior analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Experience in Pharmacy Financial Actuarial Consulting is preferred
- PBM experience a plus
- Actuarial expertise is a plus
- Underwriting experience is advantageous
