Role Overview
- Preparation and/or review of journal entries for accruals, prepaid, revenue, capitalization
- Ownership of GL accounts and monitoring for errors
- Review and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations
- Follow up and clear open items, ensuring control over ageing
- Co-ordinate with auditors and respond to queries
- Simplify and improve processes where possible
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in GL/R2R processes
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Prior experience in working in similar roles
- Excellent knowledge of excel functions
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to lead meetings with onsite stakeholders
