Work with assigned clients to train and assist with the implementation of Genetics Suite products.
Define system scopes and objectives based on user requirements and understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
Travel to a client site to perform implementation activities.
Assess the client’s current workflow and document future state workflow.
Coordinate and meet with clients and business leaders to ensure direction, scope, and dependencies of file build design and identify gaps.
Provide client training, including System Configuration Training, Super User Training, and project-specific training as needed.
Create/review/revise test cases as needed.
Support clients with end-user training and validation techniques.
Review client test cases for accuracy regarding the specific build and workflow.
Hold weekly client calls and/or Webex sessions with client Subject Matter expert groups.
Smoke-test software deliveries in specified environments.
Escalate all project risks as appropriate.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare/Clinical related field (Medical Technology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cytotechnology, Histotechnology, etc.) preferably with a Computer Science background.
Must have at least an Associate's Degree.
Certification or License in a clinical related field (Cytogenetics, Histotechnology, Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Sciences or related) by the State of Florida, ASCLS, ASCP or other national certifying organizations desired.
2-3 years of experience in domains such as laboratory, cytogenetics, molecular genetics, flow cytometry, biochemistry, immunogenetics, cytology or histology/pathology.
Experience in clinical diagnostic laboratories preferred with proficiency in genetics or pathology theory and laboratory practice, specimen preparation and processing.
Experience in the usage, file building, and troubleshooting of a laboratory information system (LIS) is preferred.
