About this role
Role Overview
Act as Business Manager to the Global Head T&L and WB NL Sector Leadership
Drive strategic goal‑setting together with Sector & Lending Heads and their MTs
Coordinate planning cycles, presentations, dynamic planning processes and global alignment
Serve as linking pin across the T&L global network, product partners and functions
Manage key transversal topics such as OHI, NPS, Risk/KYC alignment and regulatory deliverables
Safeguard quality, consistency and optimisation of management information
Prepare communication, executive briefings, presentations and offsite materials
Build strong working relationships across WB globally to improve collaboration, execution and data quality
Act as Vice President T&L – Commercial & Relationship Role
Contribute to relationship management and business origination
Structure and negotiate (structured) lending transactions
Work closely with Lending on execution and portfolio management
Engage with Corporate Finance, CS&A, DCM, Financial Markets, Sustainable Finance, Syndicated Finance and Transaction Services
Use ING’s global network to expand client relationships and identify new opportunities
Contribute to the continuous growth of the T&L franchise
Coach junior colleagues and support global knowledge sharing across the T&L organisation
Requirements
4–5 years relevant experience in capital management
3-6 years relevant experience in a finance‑driven, transaction‑oriented environment
Strong communication skills; fluent English required (Dutch is a plus)
A Master’s degree or equivalent
A proactive, structured and resilient way of working; high organisational sensitivity.
Ability to synthesise information quickly and provide actionable insights
Strong stakeholder‑management and the ability to build internal networks and create buy‑in
High level of self‑motivation and commercial drive
Skilled in preparing impactful presentations, executive briefings and concise reporting
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism
Enjoyment of working in a collaborative and multicultural environment
Willingness to travel occasionally
