Principal Attorney – Commercial Agreements

Role Overview

• Manage the drafting and negotiation of complex sales transactions
• Lead high-value deals requiring coordination across attorneys and contract professionals
• Provide guidance to executive and non-executive stakeholders
• Draft, review, and advise on contract drafts
• Provide accurate and well-drafted contracts
• Advise and manage other legal team members
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements

• J.D., LLB (or equivalent degree)
• 10+ years of experience at a law firm or corporate environment in commercial transactions
• Excellent contract drafting skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Effective communication skills in verbal and written form
• Proven success working in cross-functional teams
• Strong interest in challenging assignments
• Management experience preferred
• Fluent in English (written & verbal)
