Support the development of compliance policies and programs, defining responsibilities and the scope of the area’s activities to monitor compliance risk exposure and enable achievement of strategic objectives.
Support the organization in complying with legislation, external and internal regulations, and ethical standards.
Conduct monitoring activities, background checks and due diligence;
Monitor and evaluate compliance assessments produced for projects and new products to enable responsible areas to take action and ensure adherence to applicable legislation and external regulations.
Monitor submission of information required by legal and regulatory standards to ensure deadlines, conditions established in the regulations, and quality of information are met.
Support assessment of regulatory compliance of the organization’s processes and products to enable responsible areas to take action and ensure adherence to applicable legislation and external regulations.
Support the monitoring of external regulations applicable to Sicredi.
Support assessment of conformity with applicable standards and perform compliance testing;
Facilitate the process of creating, updating and approving official internal regulations to ensure they go through the necessary review and approval stages and are properly updated and made available.
Assist in reviewing official internal regulations to ensure they meet the required standard and objectives, and subsequently forward them for senior management approval.
Participate in evaluation procedures of processes involving suppliers, public agencies and customers to ensure adherence to the anti-corruption law and report deviations to senior management for awareness and action.
Support the maintenance of processes related to FATCA and CRS;
Requirements
Education: Law, Business Administration or related fields.
Preferably with a completed specialization or MBA.
Knowledge of Compliance topics, regulatory demands, and rules and standards of the National Financial System (SFN).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with routines and operations of financial institutions.
Professional certification in corporate investigations is a plus.
