Serve as the subject matter expert for product areas involving medical billing, infusion therapy workflows, oncology services, and chronic care programs.
Gather stakeholder input—from clinical, billing, and finance teams—to define user needs and product requirements.
Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog using data-driven methodologies.
Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams.
Contribute to product roadmap planning, release scoping, and cross-functional alignment.
Translate complex revenue cycle processes into product features.
Break down infusion
and oncology-specific workflows, including necessary payer and billing logic.
Identify system gaps, pain points, and opportunities for automation or process improvement.
Create documentation including business requirements, product specs, and operational workflows.
Work closely with engineering, UX, billing operations, clinical teams, and finance to ensure clarity and alignment.
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and review sessions.
Provide subject matter expertise to engineers and designers to ensure functional accuracy.
Partner with QA teams to ensure coverage of real-world billing and infusion workflows.
Perform user acceptance testing with operational and financial stakeholders.
Ensure product alignment with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
3–5+ years of experience in healthcare operations or medical billing.
Strong background in healthcare revenue cycle processes.
Experience supporting infusion therapy or oncology workflow operations.
Accounting literacy; certificate or coursework preferred.
Experience with month-end reconciliation and collaboration with finance teams.
Ability to write well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical/operational documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
