About this role
Role Overview
Autonomous AI agent development: Design, implement, and optimize autonomous agents capable of long-horizon reasoning, planning, and multi-step task execution.
Tooling & API integration: Build agent capabilities that integrate with enterprise APIs, databases, and operational tools to enable real-world workflows (e.g., scheduling, research, automation).
Agentic platform engineering: Leverage and extend agent orchestration and workflow frameworks to build scalable, maintainable agentic solutions.
Reasoning & memory systems: Design memory approaches (short-term, long-term, episodic) to support context-aware decision-making and continuity across tasks.
Multi-agent collaboration: Create systems where specialized agents coordinate and collaborate to solve complex problems, including task decomposition and delegation.
Testing, evaluation & optimization: Implement evaluation pipelines to improve safety, reliability, accuracy, cost efficiency, and performance of autonomous workflows.
Scalability & production deployment: Deploy and operate agentic services in production environments with strong standards for robustness, scalability, observability, and security.
Research & innovation: Stay current with advances in large language models, agentic AI, and autonomous systems; propose and prototype solutions that address business needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of experience in application development, including application architecture, information modeling, data governance, software development, and system integration.
Strong programming experience in Python (experience with modern web development frameworks is a plus).
Hands-on experience building with large language models, including model selection, adaptation, and tuning techniques.
Experience with agentic AI / LLM application frameworks for tool use, orchestration, and workflow management.
Knowledge of prompting strategies, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and tool-augmented AI patterns.
Familiarity with major cloud platforms and modern deployment practices, including containerization and cluster orchestration.
Background in knowledge graphs, vector search, and embedding-based retrieval.
Proven hands-on experience with API design, microservices, cloud computing, ETL, CI/CD, and production operations.
Exceptional documentation and diagramming skills (e.g., UML or equivalent).
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills; able to communicate complex technical concepts across teams and leadership levels.
Strong critical thinking, abstract problem solving, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
