About this role
Role Overview
Recruiting new AmeriCorps members.
Supporting members in volunteer recruitment.
Assisting with various program operations.
Conduct outreach at events and community locations throughout the year.
Build and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders.
Deliver training to AmeriCorps members on DEP branding policies and outreach best practices.
Attend career fairs and recruitment events to promote FLCC opportunities.
Develop and implement engaging outreach strategies.
Track and monitor member activities related to outreach, interpretation, and events.
Ensure all outreach materials comply with DEP branding and interpretation standards.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of Florida’s natural and cultural resources.
Computer operations, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Principles of customer service and public relations.
Interpretation training (CIG or equivalent) (Preferred).
Graphic Design training (Preferred).
Leadership training (Preferred).
