Support the development of compliance policies and programs, defining responsibilities and the scope of area activities to monitor exposure to compliance risks and enable achievement of strategic objectives
Support the organization in complying with legislation, external and internal regulations, and ethical standards
Conduct monitoring, background checks, and due diligence processes
Monitor and assess compliance opinions produced regarding projects and new products, to support actions by responsible areas and ensure adherence to applicable legislation and external regulations
Track the submission of information required by legal and regulatory standards to ensure deadlines, compliance with regulatory conditions, and the quality of submitted information
Support assessment of regulatory compliance of the organization's processes and products to enable actions by responsible areas, aiming for adherence to legislation and applicable external regulations
Support the monitoring of external regulations applicable to Sicredi
Support evaluation of conformity with applicable regulations and perform compliance testing
Facilitate the creation, update, and approval process of official internal policies and regulations, ensuring they undergo required review and approval stages and are kept updated and available
Assist in reviewing official internal regulations to ensure they meet standards and objectives, and prepare them for approval by senior management
Participate in assessment procedures of processes involving suppliers, public bodies, and clients to ensure compliance with anti-corruption laws and report deviations to senior management for awareness and action
Support the maintenance of processes related to FATCA and CRS
Requirements
Education: Law, Business Administration, or related fields
Preferably holds a specialization or MBA (completed)
Knowledge of compliance topics, regulatory requirements, and the standards and regulations of the National Financial System (Sistema Financeiro Nacional)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with financial institution operations
Professional certification in corporate investigations is a plus
