Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst

Role Overview

• Strategizes, develops, and manages comprehensive export/import authorizations to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations
• Follows business processes pertaining to export/import requirements and all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations
• Establishes and maintains relations with appropriate government regulatory agencies and internal customers
• Assures trade compliance through gate reviews for technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments
• Supports internal trade compliance assessments and audits, including required documentation preparation and reviews with management, auditors, and legal counsel
• Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field.
• Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other US Government Regulations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
