Assist in developing and maintaining data workflows for tax processing and compliance mapping
Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to gather and clarify data and reporting requirements
Translate business and compliance requirements into structured workflows and data transformation logic
Build, test, and refine automated processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability
Work with large, complex datasets to clean, transform, and standardize information
Support the automation of repetitive processes using platforms such as Power Automate or similar technologies
Contribute ideas and approaches to improve existing processes and introduce more efficient solutions
Support ongoing initiatives in automation, data analysis, and emerging technologies (including AI where applicable)

Currently working towards a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related program
Strong interest in automation, data, and building practical solutions
Experience with data processing, including exposure to Python, SQL, VBA, or similar technologies
Experience working with Excel for data analysis or automation (including VBA or similar approaches) is an asset
Comfortable working through ambiguous problems and translating them into structured outcomes
Ability to engage in discussions to understand business requirements and turn them into technical solutions
Ability and willingness to learn new platforms quickly and adapt to tools used by the team
Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to take initiative and contribute ideas, not just execute tasks.
