Senior Manager, Risk Transformation

Role Overview

• Support the execution of enterprise‑wide risk priorities across transformation, governance, regulatory engagement, and strategy.
• Deliver outcomes aligned with Risk & Compliance senior leadership, including execution of priority regulatory and risk change initiatives, enterprise transformation work, and leadership‑directed special initiatives.
• Provide coordination and execution support across Risk and Compliance leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in consulting, risk management, enterprise enablement, regulatory compliance, or transformation roles within financial services, preferably in a regulated banking environment.
• Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory frameworks and expectations (e.g., OSFI E‑23, E‑21, CAR Chapters 4 & 5, B‑13, B‑10), with experience supporting regulatory engagement, reviews, or audits.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across senior leadership levels, including engagement with executives and regulatory stakeholders.
• Proven capability to synthesize complex information and translate it into clear, concise, executive‑level materials suitable for governance and decision‑making.
• Sound understanding of risk management disciplines, governance structures, and enterprise change environments, including how these operate in practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience authoring executive documentation, governance materials, and briefing content.
• High degree of organizational and stakeholder acumen, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment through influence rather than formal authority.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to identify themes, gaps, and risks across concurrent initiatives.
