Responsible for administration, operation, monitoring, support and maintenance of LAN, WAN, Servers, SANs, VMWare, Active Directory, Exchange, and Hosted (Cloud) applications such as O365.
Provides consultation to business management and staff at the highest technical level for design, configuration and performance.
Provides Tier-3 technical support for OS, Server, and Cloud applications.
Plans, coordinates, and installs hardware and software.
Resolves and/or coordinates the resolution of infrastructure problems.
Provides technical support and guidelines to IT staff through documentation.
Assists with Information Security procedures and processes.
Evaluates new products and emerging technologies.
Provides technical recommendations to improve network performance.
Ensures reliability, performance, recoverability, and security of infrastructure components and systems.
Provides maintenance/support for Internet/WAN, Firewalls, DMZ, DNS, NAT, etc.
Requirements
7 years related IT/Networking experience required.
Cisco experience preferred.
Relevant experience in a Windows server environment working with VMWare, Citrix, and Exchange.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (O365) is a plus.
Linux experience is a plus.
Relevant professional and technical certifications (Microsoft, VMWare, EMC, Dell, Cisco, etc.) preferred.
Own and solve complex tasks that are part of a large project and lead small projects on their own.
