Establish and manage the construction project organisation
Regularly review construction progress, cost performance, and schedule adherence
Manage field expenditures and services to ensure all construction operations remain within approved budgets
Maintain strong relationships with the client
Manage all contractual aspects of the project
Monitor technical compliance of site activities
Ensure all provisions for temporary and permanent site setups are in place
Ensure effective deployment and utilisation of digital tools such as EviFile and InnDex
Requirements
Extensive experience as an IRSE Engineering Manager (Installation) with familiarity in 7.8.110B v3 standards
Strong understanding of rail procedures, including Network Rail requirements
Proven contract management experience across NEC3 and NEC4 frameworks
Demonstrated health & safety competence covering CDM, RAMS, and site assurance
Over 10 years’ construction management experience on signalling and multi‑discipline rail projects
Experienced in collaborating with multiple rail discipline interfaces
Skilled in implementing and managing Working at Height, Confined Space, cable avoidance, ALO, lift planning, isolations, and man–machine interface controls
Holds IOSH/CITB safety qualifications such as SMTS/Managing People Safely
Competent in safety‑critical roles including PTS, IWA, and COSS
Strong communication, leadership, and motivational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and comprehensive knowledge of rail industry rules and regulations (e.g., NR/L2/OHS/019, NR/L2/OHS/044)
