Develops an understanding of each client’s business/organization operations.
Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (i.e. prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals.)
Completes complex account reconciliations (investments, debt, industry specific, etc.)
Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements (basic to complex.)
Reviews general ledger, cashflow, allocations, etc.
Proactively creates process and procedure documentation and builds their own backup.
Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and preparing audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and other forms or items as requested by clients.
Assists with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
Requirements
2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
Bachelor's degree is required.
Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
