Director, People Strategy – Planning

Role Overview

• Own the integration of the enterprise People Strategy and Workforce Strategy
• Author and facilitate People Strategy document development
• Ensure clear articulation of tradeoffs and strategic choices related to workforce
• Provide senior leadership and direction across SWP Strategy and Operations
• Oversee People Team planning, governance mechanisms, and investment alignment
• Accountable for executive-ready and Board-level materials

Requirements

• 12+ years in HR strategy, workforce planning, consulting, or adjacent enterprise strategy roles
• Demonstrated leadership across multi-disciplinary teams (strategy, analytics, operations)
• Deep understanding of strategic workforce planning
• Strong executive presence and ability to simplify complexity
• Proven experience developing Board-level narratives and materials
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilities
• Experience managing budgets and making cost-benefit trade-offs
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
