Underwriting Sales Associate – ONSITE

Role Overview

• Generates new business opportunities and sells new business policies.
• Provides exceptional customer service through face-to-face, telephone or written inquiries.
• Determines acceptability of new & renewal business per the company's Underwriting rules and guidelines.
• Services existing policies as well as soliciting additional lines of business or coverages through cross-selling.
• Updates rating information and verifies accuracy of policy information.
• Provides rate and coverage information to prospective clients' inquiries.
• Special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• This position requires an Arizona Property & Casualty License.
• Insurance industry experience is a must.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
• Effective decision making and communication skills.
