Reporting directly to the Regional Trading Director, the KCM will deliver the National Commercial strategy for Main Contractor, Housebuilder key accounts and respective associated design teams and partners.
The KCM will proactively develop profitable commercial business opportunities for Marshalls by strategically focusing on defined Key Housebuilder and Contractor accounts, to create demand and drive specification of Marshalls products and systems and to maximise the profitability of Marshalls Plc by achieving the most desirable blend of price, volume and mix of products sold.
You’ll take the lead on engaging with our head office, including the pre-construction and design teams, to identify and understand the main projects in the region.
Using your expertise with Barbour ABI, you'll stay ahead of the curve, tracking project progress and ensuring our shared documents are always up-to-date.
Your ability to get in early with project teams and specification managers will be crucial to success.
Requirements
Commercial experience across a wide number of stakeholders within the building industry, including tier 1 housebuilders and main contractors
Able to leverage specification strategy with main contractor and housebuilders customers to gain higher margins and better product mix
Bringing knowledge of sustainability and the products used within the industry to your meetings and presentations
Be a creative thinker and have the ability to think from a solutions perspective, rather than deferring to the status quo and traditional methods, including being adaptable to changing needs and specifications
Working knowledge of procurement routes with the capacity to lead negotiations with key stakeholders using our broad value proposition as a commercial lever
Detailed knowledge of RIBA
