Drive sales of Cellanome’s platform within pharmaceutical and large biotech accounts.
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including discovery scientists, translational researchers, platform leads, and procurement teams.
Identify opportunities where advanced single-cell analysis can accelerate drug discovery, target identification, and mechanism-of-action studies.
Develop and execute strategic account plans for complex, multi-group pharma organizations.
Deliver high-impact technical presentations, workshops, and on-site engagements tailored to pharma research applications.
Navigate long sales cycles and multi-layered decision-making processes within large organizations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with field applications scientists, marketing, and product teams to support evaluations, pilots, and successful adoption.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends in cell biology, single-cell technologies, and drug discovery workflows.
Accurately manage pipeline and customer interactions using CRM tools.
Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of working time away from work location, including overnight/weekend travel at times.
Requirements
Degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Within total work experience, 3+ years of sales, business development, or field applications, with a focus on cell biology.
Strong understanding of drug discovery workflows and the role of cell biology in target discovery and validation.
Familiarity with single-cell analysis, genomics, or high-dimensional biology platforms.
Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals and managing long sales cycles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both scientists and business leaders.
Highly self-motivated with strong strategic thinking and territory/account management skills.
