About this role
Role Overview
Define and drive the data platform roadmap in alignment with business and data needs
Own platform operations: availability, performance, security and cost control (FinOps – Financial Operations, to be confirmed)
Orchestrate end-to-end data flows using integration solutions (ETL/ELT – Extract, Transform, Load / Extract, Load, Transform; ESB – Enterprise Service Bus, to be confirmed; APIs – Application Programming Interfaces)
Translate business and IT needs into technical requirements and challenge architectural decisions
Define and deploy data quality standards, monitoring, and SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
Manage partners and coordinate internal and external teams working on the platform
Prepare the platform evolution toward advanced use cases (advanced analytics, AI/ML – Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning)
Requirements
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or data integration
Proven experience owning or managing a cloud data platform (Databricks or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of data integration architectures and patterns and enterprise systems (SAP – Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing; MES – Manufacturing Execution System, or other industrial systems)
Product Owner mindset: roadmap management, prioritization and value delivery
Strong skills in coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing vendors/contractors
Excellent communication skills, ability to structure, make decisions and drive complex initiatives forward
Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
