Provides engineering leadership to multiple teams to ensure thoughtful strategic planning, development of objective statements of work, scheduling of work and estimating
Supports the development of strategic roadmaps and associated long-range business planning and financial requests
Partners proactively with management and technical leads to establish resource requirements
Proposes and implements operating models and rhythms appropriate for each scope of work, team composition, and commitments in coordination with leadership objectives and guidance
Coaches and mentors teams in agile, SaFE and other project methods
Facilitates the execution of each project in partnership with management and technical leads, ensuring fulfilled commitments and successful transitions
Supports management and technical leads in the execution of technical and financial performance to plan, with performance metrics and implementing continuous improvements
Supports management and technical leads in the management of project risk, issues, and opportunities
Maintains project status and reporting materials for leadership and financial stakeholders
Drives ideation and implementation of process improvements
Prepares and presents program status, assessments, corrective actions, and recommendations to program and Boeing leadership; uses KPIs and analytics to drive improvement
Helps manage and maintain project documentation
Helps manage and maintain project access and tool access permissions and access control policies
Helps manage and maintain team rosters, DLs, and access control groups
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in systems design and/or systems analysis and/or systems integration
Experience working with complex engineering activities
Experience developing & maintaining relationships & partnerships with senior executives and stakeholders
Level 5: 14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (preferred)
