About this role
Role Overview
Work as a key member of the North America Pole Services commercial & operations (ITR) teams in support of achieving the multi-year service agreements (CSA and MMP) business lines objectives.
The role requires awareness of the business lines’ quarterly and yearly key metrics (KPIs) performance and for the prioritization of these metrics as business objectives and needs may change.
This role will require the CM to have an understanding of risk to achieving the business objectives and support team in strategies to mitigate or eliminate such risk during the Policy 5.0 deal underwriting process.
Working with the region MYA Product Specialists, Account Managers, Operations teams, together with functional teams including Subject Matter Experts, lead the commercial (ITO) process for highly complex renegotiation, renewal and new Multi Year Agreements (CSA and MMP) across the segment with the intent of developing winning strategies to leverage successful deal closures while ensuring compliance with established guidelines for the Policy 5.0 deal underwriting risk management and the various other commercial and business requirements and processes.
Lead the Conversion, Modifications and Upgrades (CM&U), including the Complex Projects processes for Upgrades developments included in building the MYA contract strategy.
Be responsible for effectively driving the proposal and contract commercial (ITO) processes to develop scope, cost, risk, cycle time and for an assigned deal opportunity to provide technical and commercial solutions meeting both customer and GEV's requirements and business goals.
Actively and independently participate and lead commercial and technical meetings, discussions and contract negotiations with customers.
Work with MYA Product Specialists, commercial/sales account teams and functional teams to determine market value pricing and overall deal strategy.
Collaborate with the respective sales, operations, and other functional teams during the deal development and review process and ensure that all technical, commercial and business risk acceptance levels are properly mitigated and incorporated into the development of the opportunity scope, cost, strategy, price and actual proposal / contract language, keeping in mind Customer KPI’s.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related discipline from an accredited university or college
Minimum 7 to years of Commercial and/or Contract Performance Manager (CPM) experience with complex gas turbine, aero, steam turbine and generator service solutions in the Power Generation and/or Energy Industry
