Supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs or policies
Serves as a liaison between employees/managers of a business unit, division, or profit center and the corporate human resources function
Performs work under minimal supervision
Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
Focuses on employee relations, manager coaching, performance support, and operational consistency
Applies sound judgment to moderately complex HR issues, escalates when appropriate, and plays a key role in educating leaders and reinforcing effective people practices across the organization
Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance
Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations
Provides consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives
Requirements
High school or GED
Progressive HR experience with significant exposure to: employee relations, supervisor coaching, and performance management
Six plus years experience working in an HR role preferred
Demonstrated experience guiding managers through people issues with sound judgment
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in a mid-size professional services firm
Experience partnering with and coaching supervisors and mid-level leaders directly
Experience operating in an organization undergoing change or HR function maturity
Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred)
Interest in process improvement, documentation, and standardization
Curiosity and aptitude around data, dashboards, and AI-enabled HR tools
