Senior Export Director leads and helps unify the export teams for Donimet, Mercor, and Malkowski–Martech.
This position is responsible for aligning the export offer across multiple brands, building and nurturing a single, high-performing team, and delivering international growth under the ASSA ABLOY solution brand.
The successful candidate will inspire collaboration across regions and business areas, drive both internal and external partnerships, and act as a champion for commercial excellence and customer focus in European markets.
Lead the unified export team across Donimet, Mercor, and Malkowski–Martech under the Export 2.0 strategy and unify and energize the team around one vision, fostering collaboration, accountability, and shared ambition.
Drive international revenue and margin growth, particularly in markets with no domestic ASSA ABLOY presence and leverage the ASSA ABLOY brand to strengthen market credibility while preserving the value and technical heritage of each product brand.
Identify and lead growth opportunities in new countries, verticals, or sales channels; build strong internal partnerships across ASSA ABLOY divisions, especially with Entrance Systems and regional BA teams; engage in close collaboration with operations, R&D/certification, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Establish and grow external relationships with key customers, major contractors, distributors, and project stakeholders.
Set and manage commercial KPIs across sales, margin, pipeline, and forecasting; lead strategic bids, tenders, and project negotiations, ensuring commercial robustness and delivery capability; oversee pricing, discounts, and customer terms in alignment with the DBS pricing team.
Requirements
Has minimum 5 years of international B2B sales or export leadership in technical or project-based industries and proven track record of delivering sales growth, leading teams, and executing strategic commercial initiatives.
Has minimum 3 years in a senior leadership role managing people and performance across regions and also strong understanding of project sales, key account management, and international channel development.
Has knowledge of ERP and CRM fluency (Excel and analytical capability required)
Is inspirational leader and team builder, capable of unifying people under a shared vision, excellent communicator and relationship builder across cultures and business units and is commercially sharp and strategically driven, with a strong customer orientation.
Is fluent in English and willing to travel extensively across EMEIA as needed.
